What Now

It all starts with faith

We first need to make sure we are saved, so be continually immersing yourself in God's word and praying until you begin to see God and the world through a Biblical lens. Be sure to let the Bible be true and all men liars -- do not come to it with preconceived notions or the world's sensibilities, just believe it for what it says so as to learn God's truth.

We believe the Bible to the point it naturally informs our choices and directs our actions

Then we naturally want to help others find eternal life in Jesus through their own faith -- we make disciples

We teach our kids, try to reach those we love, try to reach those we come in contact with that we like, and even try to reach our enemies (while suffering their abuse).

Jesus said "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few." Matthew 9:37.

Pray about what God wants you to do and who God wants you to reach. Although God wants the gospel to be preached to the world, there are plenty of people in our own families, neighborhoods, schools, and cities that need help. Some will want to try to convert non-believers, although based on the verses I see in the Bible, there are even many in our churches that need a saving faith. Nobody has perfect knowledge of the Bible and nobody has perfect faith, so it is probably best to simply share Jesus with everyone. Making disciples of others is not a single conversation, it is an ongoing relationship focused on sharing, learning, and growing. Do not waste the knowledge God has given you (hide light under a bushel and parable of the talents) or the precious little time you have. There are verses saying that even talk about our idle words, but if we believe the Bible accurately describes God and the world, we really won't want to be wasting our time with idle words anyway. (Matthew 12:36-37 KJV "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." This is words flowing like living water from our faith.)
