Hebrews 9:20 Hebrews 9:21 (KJV) Hebrews 9:22
Saying, This [is] the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

  • G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): and, even, also, namely — apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.
  • G3009 — λειτουργία (leitourgía, li-toorg-ee'-ah): a charitable gift, public service — from λειτουργέω; public function (as priest ("liturgy") or almsgiver):--ministration(-try), service.
  • G3668 — ὁμοίως (homoíōs, hom-oy'-oce): in like manner — adverb from ὅμοιος; similarly:--likewise, so.
  • G3956 — πᾶς (pâs, pas): all, the whole, every kind of — including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any, every, the whole:--all (manner of, means), alway(-s), any (one), X daily, + ever, every (one, way), as many as, + no(-thing), X thoroughly, whatsoever, whole, whosoever.
  • G4472 — ῥαντίζω (rhantízō, hran-tid'-zo): I sprinkle — from a derivative of (to sprinkle); to render besprinkled, i.e. asperse (ceremonially or figuratively):-- sprinkle.
  • G4632 — σκεῦος (skeûos, skyoo'-os): a vessel to contain liquid, utensil, tackle — of uncertain affinity; a vessel, implement, equipment or apparatus (literally or figuratively [specially, a wife as contributing to the usefulness of the husband]):--goods, sail, stuff, vessel.
  • G4633 — σκηνή (skēnḗ, skay-nay'): a tent, tabernacle — apparently akin to σκεῦος and σκιά; a tent or cloth hut (literally or figuratively):--habitation, tabernacle.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the — the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom):--the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.
