Strong's References
- H906 — בַּד (bad, bad): perhaps from בָּדַד (in the sense of divided fibres); flaxen thread or yarn; hence, a linen garment; linen.
- H4021 — מִגְבָּעָה (migbâʻâh, mig-baw-aw'): from the same as גִּבְעָה; a cap (as hemispherical); bonnet.
- H4370 — מִכְנָס (miknâç, mik-nawce'): from כָּמַס in the sense of hiding; (only in dual) drawers (from concealing the private parts); breeches.
- H4701 — מִצְנֶפֶת (mitsnepheth, mits-neh'-feth): from צָנַף; a tiara, i.e. official turban (of a king or high priest); diadem, mitre.
- H6287 — פְּאֵר (pᵉʼêr, peh-ayr'): from פָּאַר; an embellishment, i.e. fancy head-dress; beauty, bonnet, goodly, ornament, tire.
- H7806 — שָׁזַר (shâzar, shaw-zar'): a primitive root; to twist (a thread of straw); twine.
- H8336 — שֵׁשׁ (shêsh, shaysh): or (for alliteration with מֶשִׁי) שְׁשִׁי; for שַׁיִשׁ; bleached stuff, i.e. white linen or (by analogy) marble; [idiom] blue, fine (twined) linen, marble, silk.
The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
- H853 — אֵת (ʼêth, ayth): apparent contracted from אוֹת in the demonstrative sense of entity; properly, self (but generally used to point out more definitely the object of a verb or preposition, even or namely); (as such unrepresented in English).
