Jude 1:2[edit | edit source]
| ← Jude 1:1 | Jude 1:2 (KJV) | Jude 1:3 → |
|---|---|---|
Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, [and] called:
|
Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
|
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Strong's References[edit | edit source]
- G26 — ἀγάπη (agápē, ag-ah'-pay): love — from ἀγαπάω; love, i.e. affection or benevolence; specially (plural) a love-feast:--(feast of) charity(-ably), dear, love.
- G1515 — εἰρήνη (eirḗnē, i-ray'-nay): peace, peace of mind — probably from a primary verb (to join); peace (literally or figuratively); by implication, prosperity:--one, peace, quietness, rest, + set at one again.
- G1656 — ἔλεος (éleos, el'-eh-os): pity, mercy — of uncertain affinity; compassion (human or divine, especially active):--(+ tender) mercy.
- G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): and, even, also, namely — apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.
- G4129 — πληθύνω (plēthýnō, play-thoo'-no): I increase, multiply — from another form of πλῆθος; to increase (transitively or intransitively):--abound, multiply.
- G5213 — ὑμῖν (hymîn, hoo-min'): irregular dative case of ὑμεῖς; to (with or by) you:--ye, you, your(-selves).
