|---|---|---|
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
|
And he took him by the right hand, and lifted [him] up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
|
And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Strong's References
- G846 — αὐτός (autós, ow-tos'): he, she, it, they, them, same — from the particle (perhaps akin to the base of ἀήρ through the idea of a baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the comparative ἑαυτοῦ) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons:--her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, (self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that, their(-s), them(-selves), there(-at, - by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with), they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. Compare αὑτοῦ.
- G939 — βάσις (básis, bas'-ece): the foot — from (to walk); a pace ("base"), i.e. (by implication) the foot:--foot.
- G1161 — δέ (dé, deh): but, on the other hand, and — a primary particle (adversative or continuative); but, and, etc.:--also, and, but, moreover, now (often unexpressed in English).
- G1188 — δεξιός (dexiós, dex-ee-os'): on the right hand, right hand, right — from δέχομαι; the right side or (feminine) hand (as that which usually takes):--right (hand, side).
- G1453 — ἐγείρω (egeírō, eg-i'-ro): I wake, arouse, raise up — probably akin to the base of ἀγορά (through the idea of collecting one's faculties); to waken (transitively or intransitively), i.e. rouse (literally, from sleep, from sitting or lying, from disease, from death; or figuratively, from obscurity, inactivity, ruins, nonexistence):--awake, lift (up), raise (again, up), rear up, (a-)rise (again, up), stand, take up.
- G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): and, even, also, namely — apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.
- G3916 — παραχρῆμα (parachrēma, par-akh-ray'-mah): instantly, immediately — from παρά and χρῆμα (in its original sense); at the thing itself, i.e. instantly:--forthwith, immediately, presently, straightway, soon.
- G4084 — πιάζω (piázō, pee-ad'-zo): I lay hold of — probably another form of βιάζω; to squeeze, i.e. seize (gently by the hand (press), or officially (arrest), or in hunting (capture)):--apprehend, catch, lay hand on, take. Compare πιέζω.
- G4732 — στερεόω (stereóō, ster-eh-o'-o): I strengthen, confirm, establish — from στερεός; to solidify, i.e. confirm (literally or figuratively):--establish, receive strength, make strong.
- G4974 — σφυρόν (sphyrón, sfoo-ron'): the ankle bone — neuter of a presumed derivative probably of the same as (a ball, "sphere"; compare the feminine , a hammer); the ankle (as globular):--ancle bone.
- G5495 — χείρ (cheír, khire): a hand — perhaps from the base of χειμών in the sense of its congener the base of χάσμα (through the idea of hollowness for grasping); the hand (literally or figuratively (power); especially (by Hebraism) a means or instrument):--hand.
The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
- G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the — the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom):--the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.
