Mark 13:33
| ← Mark 13:32 [words of Jesus] | Mark 13:33 (KJV) [words of Jesus] | Mark 13:34 [words of Jesus] → |
|---|---|---|
But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
|
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
|
[For the Son of man is] as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

- G2540 — καιρός (kairós, kahee-ros'): fitting season, opportunity, time — of uncertain affinity; an occasion, i.e. set or proper time:--X always, opportunity, (convenient, due) season, (due, short, while) time, a while. Compare χρόνος.

- G4219 — πότε (póte, pot'-eh): when, at what time — from the base of ποῦ and τέ; interrogative adverb, at what time:--+ how long, when.
- G4336 — προσεύχομαι (proseúchomai, pros-yoo'-khom-ahee): I pray, pray for — from πρός and εὔχομαι; to pray to God, i.e. supplicate, worship:--pray (X earnestly, for), make prayer.
