1 Corinthians 13:11
| ← 1 Corinthians 13:10 | 1 Corinthians 13:11 (KJV) | 1 Corinthians 13:12 → |
|---|---|---|
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
|
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
|
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

- G2252 — ἤμην (ḗmēn, ay'-mane): a prolonged form of ἦν; I was:--be, was. (Sometimes unexpressed).
- G2673 — καταργέω (katargéō, kat-arg-eh'-o): I bring to naught, sever, abolish — from κατά and ἀργέω; to be (render) entirely idle (useless), literally or figuratively:--abolish, cease, cumber, deliver, destroy, do away, become (make) of no (none, without) effect, fail, loose, bring (come) to nought, put away (down), vanish away, make void.
- G2980 — λαλέω (laléō, lal-eh'-o): I speak, say — a prolonged form of an otherwise obsolete verb; to talk, i.e. utter words:--preach, say, speak (after), talk, tell, utter. Compare λέγω.

- G3516 — νήπιος (nḗpios, nay'-pee-os): an infant, child, unlearned — from an obsolete particle (implying negation) and ἔπος; not speaking, i.e. an infant (minor); figuratively, a simple-minded person, an immature Christian:--babe, child (+ -ish).
