He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped [it]. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave [it] to Judas Iscariot, [the son] of Simon.

And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

- G611 — ἀποκρίνομαι (apokrínomai, ap-ok-ree'-nom-ahee): I answer, reply — from ἀπό and ; to conclude for oneself, i.e. (by implication) to respond; by Hebraism (compare עָנָה) to begin to speak (where an address is expected):--answer.
- G911 — βάπτω (báptō, bap'-to): I dip, dye — a primary verb; to whelm, i.e. cover wholly with a fluid; in the New Testament only in a qualified or special sense, i.e. (literally) to moisten (a part of one's person), or (by implication) to stain (as with dye):--dip.

- G1686 — ἐμβάπτω (embáptō, em-bap'-to): I dip into — from ἐν and βάπτω; to whelm on, i.e. wet (a part of the person, etc.) by contact with a fluid:--dip.
- G1929 — ἐπιδίδωμι (epidídōmi, ep-ee-did'-o-mee): I hand in, give up, give way — from ἐπί and δίδωμι; to give over (by hand or surrender):--deliver unto, give, let (+ (her drive)), offer.

- G2424 — Ἰησοῦς (Iēsoûs, ee-ay-sooce'): Jesus — of Hebrew origin (יְהוֹשׁוּעַ); Jesus (i.e. Jehoshua), the name of our Lord and two (three) other Israelites:--Jesus.
