Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

[Let her be as] the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.

And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

- H158 — אַהַב (ʼahab, ah'-hab): from אָהַב; affection (in a good or a bad sense); love(-r).
- H160 — אַהֲבָה (ʼahăbâh, a-hab-aw): feminine of אַהַב and meaning the same; {affection (in a good or a bad sense)}; love.
- H365 — אַיֶּלֶת (ʼayeleth, ah-yeh'-leth): the same as אַיָּלָה; a doe; hind, Aijeleth.
- H1717 — דַּד (dad, dad): apparently from the same as דּוֹד; the breast (as the seat of love, or from its shape); breast, teat.
