Strong's References
  • G553 — ἀπεκδέχομαι (apekdéchomai, ap-ek-dekh'-om-ahee): I expect eagerly, wait for eagerly — from ἀπό and ἐκδέχομαι; to expect fully:--look (wait) for.
  • G602 — ἀποκάλυψις (apokálypsis, ap-ok-al'-oop-sis): an unveiling, uncovering, revealing — from ἀποκαλύπτω; disclosure:--appearing, coming, lighten, manifestation, be revealed, revelation.
  • G603 — ἀποκαραδοκία (apokaradokía, ap-ok-ar-ad-ok-ee'-ah): eager expectation — from a comparative of ἀπό and a compound of (the head) and δοκέω (in the sense of watching); intense anticipation:--earnest expectation.
  • G1063 — γάρ (gár, gar): for — a primary particle; properly, assigning a reason (used in argument, explanation or intensification; often with other particles):--and, as, because (that), but, even, for, indeed, no doubt, seeing, then, therefore, verily, what, why, yet.
  • G2316 — θεός (theós, theh'-os): God, a god — of uncertain affinity; a deity, especially (with ὁ) the supreme Divinity; figuratively, a magistrate; by Hebraism, very:--X exceeding, God, god(-ly, -ward).
  • G2937 — κτίσις (ktísis, ktis'-is): creation, creature, institution — from κτίζω; original formation (properly, the act; by implication, the thing, literally or figuratively):--building, creation, creature, ordinance.
  • G5207 — υἱός (huiós, hwee-os'): a son, descendent — apparently a primary word; a "son" (sometimes of animals), used very widely of immediate, remote or figuratively, kinship:--child, foal, son.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the — the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom):--the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.
