Titus 3:13

Titus 3:12 Titus 3:13 (KJV) Titus 3:14
When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.
Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.
And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

Strong's References
  • G625 — Ἀπολλῶς (Apollōs, ap-ol-loce'): Apollos — probably from the same as Ἀπολλωνία; Apollos, an Israelite:--Apollos.
  • G846 — αὐτός (autós, ow-tos'): he, she, it, they, them, same — from the particle (perhaps akin to the base of ἀήρ through the idea of a baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the comparative ἑαυτοῦ) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons:--her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, (self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that, their(-s), them(-selves), there(-at, - by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with), they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. Compare αὑτοῦ.
  • G2211 — Ζηνᾶς (Zēnâs, dzay-nas'): Zenas — probably contracted from a poetic form of Ζεύς and δῶρον; Jove-given; Zenas, a Christian:--Zenas.
  • G2443 — ἵνα (hína, hin'-ah): in order that, so that — probably from the same as the former part of ἑαυτοῦ (through the demonstrative idea; compare ὁ); in order that (denoting the purpose or the result):--albeit, because, to the intent (that), lest, so as, (so) that, (for) to. Compare ἵνα μή.
  • G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): and, even, also, namely — apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.
  • G3007 — λείπω (leípō, li'-po): I am wanting, am left behind — a primary verb; to leave, i.e. (intransitively or passively) to fail or be absent:--be destitute (wanting), lack.
  • G3367 — μηδείς (mēdeís, may-dice'): no one, nothing — from μή and εἷς; not even one (man, woman, thing):--any (man, thing), no (man), none, not (at all, any man, a whit), nothing, + without delay.
  • G3544 — νομικός (nomikós, nom-ik-os'): about law, one learned in the Law — from νόμος; according (or pertaining) to law, i.e. legal (ceremonially); as noun, an expert in the (Mosaic) law:--about the law, lawyer.
  • G4311 — προπέμπω (propémpō, prop-em'-po): I send forward, accompany — from πρό and πέμπω; to send forward, i.e. escort or aid in travel:--accompany, bring (forward) on journey (way), conduct forth.
  • G4709 — σπουδαίως (spoudaíōs, spoo-dah'-yoce): diligently, earnestly — adverb from σπουδαῖος; earnestly, promptly:--diligently, instantly.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • G3588 — ὁ (ho, ho): the — the definite article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted, in English idiom):--the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.
