Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

- G819 — ἀτιμία (atimía, at-ee-mee'-ah): disgrace, dishonor — from ἄτιμος; infamy, i.e. (subjectively) comparative indignity, (objectively) disgrace:--dishonour, reproach, shame, vile.

- G4632 — σκεῦος (skeûos, skyoo'-os): a vessel to contain liquid, utensil, tackle — of uncertain affinity; a vessel, implement, equipment or apparatus (literally or figuratively [specially, a wife as contributing to the usefulness of the husband]):--goods, sail, stuff, vessel.
- G5092 — τιμή (timḗ, tee-may'): a price, honor — from τίνω; a value, i.e. money paid, or (concretely and collectively) valuables; by analogy, esteem (especially of the highest degree), or the dignity itself:--honour, precious, price, some.
- G5445 — φύραμα (phýrama, foo'-ram-ah): a mass or lump — from a prolonged form of (to mix a liquid with a solid; perhaps akin to φύω through the idea of swelling in bulk), mean to knead; a mass of dough:--lump.
