Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid [them] on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

There came also a multitude [out] of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

συνήρχετο δὲ καὶ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν πέριξ πόλεων εἴς Ἰερουσαλήμ, φέροντες ἀσθενεῖς καὶ ὀχλουμένους ὑπὸ πνευμάτων ἀκαθάρτων, οἵτινες ἐθεραπεύοντο ἅπαντες.

- G169 — ἀκάθαρτος (akáthartos, ak-ath'-ar-tos): unclean, impure — from Α (as a negative particle) and a presumed derivative of καθαίρω (meaning cleansed); impure (ceremonially, morally (lewd) or specially, (demonic)):--foul, unclean.
- G537 — ἅπας (hápas, hap'-as): all, the whole — from Α (as a particle of union) and πᾶς; absolutely all or (singular) every one:--all (things), every (one), whole.
- G772 — ἀσθενής (asthenḗs, as-then-ace'): weak, infirm, sick — from Α (as a negative particle) and the base of σθενόω; strengthless (in various applications, literal, figurative and moral):--more feeble, impotent, sick, without strength, weak(-er, -ness, thing).
- G1161 — δέ (dé, deh): but, on the other hand, and — a primary particle (adversative or continuative); but, and, etc.:--also, and, but, moreover, now (often unexpressed in English).

- G2323 — θεραπεύω (therapeúō, ther-ap-yoo'-o): I care for, attend, serve, heal — from the same as θεράπων; to wait upon menially, i.e. (figuratively) to adore (God), or (specially) to relieve (of disease):--cure, heal, worship.
- G2419 — Ἱερουσαλήμ (Hierousalḗm, hee-er-oo-sal-ame'): Jerusalem — of Hebrew origin (יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִם); Hierusalem (i.e. Jerushalem), the capitol of Palestine:--Jerusalem. Compare Ἱεροσόλυμα.
- G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): and, even, also, namely — apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.
- G3748 — ὅστις (hóstis, hos'-tis): whosoever, whichsoever, whatsoever — from ὅς and τὶς; which some, i.e. any that; also (definite) which same:--X and (they), (such) as, (they) that, in that they, what(-soever), whereas ye, (they) which, who(-soever). Compare ὅτι.
- G3791 — ὀχλέω (ochléō, okh-leh'-o): I trouble, torment, worry — from ὄχλος; to mob, i.e. (by implication) to harass:--vex.
- G4038 — πέριξ (périx, per'-ix): round about — adverb from περί; all around, i.e. (as an adjective) circumjacent:--round about.
- G4128 — πλῆθος (plēthos, play'-thos): a multitude — from πλήθω; a fulness, i.e. a large number, throng, populace:--bundle, company, multitude.
- G4151 — πνεῦμα (pneûma, pnyoo'-mah): wind, breath, spirit — from πνέω; a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; by analogy or figuratively, a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, (by implication) vital principle, mental disposition, etc., or (superhuman) an angel, demon, or (divine) God, Christ's spirit, the Holy Spirit:--ghost, life, spirit(-ual, -ually), mind. Compare ψυχή.
- G4172 — πόλις (pólis, pol'-is): a city — probably from the same as πόλεμος, or perhaps from πολύς; a town (properly, with walls, of greater or less size):--city.
- G4905 — συνέρχομαι (synérchomai, soon-er'-khom-ahee): I come or go with, accompany, assemble — from σύν and ἔρχομαι; to convene, depart in company with, associate with, or (specially), cohabit (conjugally):--accompany, assemble (with), come (together), come (company, go) with, resort.
- G5259 — ὑπό (hypó, hoop-o'): by, under, about — a primary preposition; under, i.e. (with the genitive case) of place (beneath), or with verbs (the agency or means, through); (with the accusative case) of place (whither (underneath) or where (below) or time (when (at)):--among, by, from, in, of, under, with. In the comparative, it retains the same general applications, especially of inferior position or condition, and specially, covertly or moderately.
- G5342 — φέρω (phérō, fer'-o): I carry, bear, bring, lead — a primary verb (for which other, and apparently not cognate ones are used in certain tenses only; namely, ; and ; to "bear" or carry (in a very wide application, literally and figuratively, as follows):--be, bear, bring (forth), carry, come, + let her drive, be driven, endure, go on, lay, lead, move, reach, rushing, uphold.
