Now upon the first [day] of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain [others] with them.

- G759 — ἄρωμα (árōma, ar'-o-mah): spice, perfume — from αἴρω (in the sense of sending off scent); an aromatic:--(sweet) spice.
- G846 — αὐτός (autós, ow-tos'): he, she, it, they, them, same — from the particle (perhaps akin to the base of ἀήρ through the idea of a baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the comparative ἑαυτοῦ) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons:--her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, (self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that, their(-s), them(-selves), there(-at, - by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with), they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. - G901 — βαθύς (bathýs, bath-oos'): deep, early, profound — from the base of βάσις; profound (as going down), literally or figuratively:--deep, very early.

- G2064 — ἔρχομαι (érchomai, er'-khom-ahee): I come, go — middle voice of a primary verb (used only in the present and imperfect tenses, the others being supplied by a kindred (middle voice) , or (active) , which do not otherwise occur); to come or go (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively):--accompany, appear, bring, come, enter, fall out, go, grow, X light, X next, pass, resort, be set.
- G2090 — ἑτοιμάζω (hetoimázō, het-oy-mad'-zo): I make ready, prepare — from ἕτοιμος; to prepare:--prepare, provide, make ready. Compare κατασκευάζω.
- G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): and, even, also, namely — apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.

- G3418 — μνῆμα (mnēma, mnay'-mah): a tomb, monument — from μνάομαι; a memorial, i.e. sepulchral monument (burial-place):--grave, sepulchre, tomb.
- G3722 — ὄρθρος (órthros, or'-thros): early dawn, day-break — from the same as ὄρος; dawn (as sun-rise, rising of light); by extension, morn:--early in the morning.
- G3739 — ὅς (hós, hos): who, which, what, that — probably a primary word (or perhaps a form of the article ὁ); the relatively (sometimes demonstrative) pronoun, who, which, what, that:--one, (an-, the) other, some, that, what, which, who(-m, -se), etc. See also οὗ.
- G4521 — σάββατον (sábbaton, sab'-bat-on): the Sabbath, a week — of Hebrew origin (שַׁבָּת); the Sabbath (i.e. Shabbath), or day of weekly repose from secular avocations (also the observance or institution itself); by extension, a se'nnight, i.e. the interval between two Sabbaths; likewise the plural in all the above applications:--sabbath (day), week.
- G4862 — σύν (sýn, soon): with — a primary preposition denoting union; with or together (but much closer than μετά or παρά), i.e. by association, companionship, process, resemblance, possession, instrumentality, addition, etc.:--beside, with. In composition it has similar applications, including completeness.
- G5100 — τὶς (tìs, tis): any one, some one — an enclitic indefinite pronoun; some or any person or object:--a (kind of), any (man, thing, thing at all), certain (thing), divers, he (every) man, one (X thing), ought, + partly, some (man, -body, - thing, -what), (+ that no-)thing, what(-soever), X wherewith, whom(-soever), whose(-soever).
- G5342 — φέρω (phérō, fer'-o): I carry, bear, bring, lead — a primary verb (for which other, and apparently not cognate ones are used in certain tenses only; namely, ; and ; to "bear" or carry (in a very wide application, literally and figuratively, as follows):--be, bear, bring (forth), carry, come, + let her drive, be driven, endure, go on, lay, lead, move, reach, rushing, uphold.
