And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried [him] away, and delivered [him] to Pilate.

And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest [it].

- G667 — ἀποφέρω (apophérō, ap-of-er'-o): I carry, bear away — from ἀπό and φέρω; to bear off (literally or relatively):--bring, carry (away).

- G4404 — πρωΐ (prōḯ, pro-ee'): early in the morning, at dawn — adverb from πρό; at dawn; by implication, the day-break watch:--early (in the morning), (in the) morning.
