And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

- H1423 — גְּדִי (gᵉdîy, ghed-ee'): from the same as גָּדָה; a young goat (from browsing); kid.
- H1481 — גּוּר (gûwr, goor): a primitive root; properly, to turn aside from the road (for a lodging or any other purpose), i.e. sojourn (as a guest); also to shrink, fear (as in a strange place); also to gather forhostility (as afraid); abide, assemble, be afraid, dwell, fear, gather (together), inhabitant, remain, sojourn, stand in awe, (be) stranger, [idiom] surely.
- H2061 — זְאֵב (zᵉʼêb, zeh-abe'): from an unused root meaning to be yellow; a wolf; wolf.
- H3162 — יַחַד (yachad, yakh'-ad): from יָחַד; properly, a unit, i.e. (adverb) unitedly; alike, at all (once), both, likewise, only, (al-) together, withal.

- H5695 — עֵגֶל (ʻêgel, ay-ghel): from the same as עָגֹל; a (male) calf (as frisking round), especially one nearly grown (i.e. a steer); bullock, calf.
- H6996 — קָטָן (qâṭân, kaw-tawn'): or קָטֹן; from קוּט; abbreviated, i.e. diminutive, literally (in quantity, size or number) or figuratively (in age or importance); least, less(-er), little (one), small(-est, one, quantity, thing), young(-er, -est).
