2 Timothy 2:13
| ← 2 Timothy 2:12 | 2 Timothy 2:13 (KJV) | 2 Timothy 2:14 → |
|---|---|---|
If we suffer, we shall also reign with [him]: if we deny [him], he also will deny us:
|
If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
|
Of these things put [them] in remembrance, charging [them] before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, [but] to the subverting of the hearers.

- G1565 — ἐκεῖνος (ekeînos, ek-i'-nos): that, that one there, yonder — from ἐκεῖ; that one (or (neuter) thing); often intensified by the article prefixed:--he, it, the other (same), selfsame, that (same, very), X their, X them, they, this, those. See also οὗτος.
- G3306 — μένω (ménō, men'-o): I remain, abide — a primary verb; to stay (in a given place, state, relation or expectancy):--abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry (for), X thine own.
- G3756 — οὐ (ou, oo): no, not — a primary word; the absolute negative (compare μή) adverb; no or not:--+ long, nay, neither, never, no (X man), none, (can-)not, + nothing, + special, un(-worthy), when, + without, + yet but. See also οὐ μή, μῆκος.
