Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

- G28 — Ἄγαρ (Ágar, ag'-ar): Hagar — of Hebrew origin (הָגָר); Hagar, the concubine of Abraham:--Hagar.
- G688 — Ἀραβία (Arabía, ar-ab-ee'-ah): Arabia — of Hebrew origin (עֲרָב); Arabia, a region of Asia:--Arabia.

- G2419 — Ἱερουσαλήμ (Hierousalḗm, hee-er-oo-sal-ame'): Jerusalem — of Hebrew origin (יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִם); Hierusalem (i.e. Jerushalem), the capitol of Palestine:--Jerusalem. Compare Ἱεροσόλυμα.
