1 Corinthians 6:3

1 Corinthians 6:2 1 Corinthians 6:3 (KJV) 1 Corinthians 6:4
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

Strong's References
  • G32 — ἄγγελος (ángelos, ang'-el-os): an angel, messenger — from (probably derived from ἄγω; compare ἀγέλη) (to bring tidings); a messenger; especially an "angel"; by implication, a pastor:--angel, messenger.
  • G982 — βιωτικός (biōtikós, bee-o-tee-kos'): belonging to ordinary life — from a derivative of βιόω; relating to the present existence:--of (pertaining to, things that pertain to) this life.
  • G1065 — γέ (gé, gheh): at least, indeed, really — a primary particle of emphasis or qualification (often used with other particles prefixed):--and besides, doubtless, at least, yet.
  • G1492 — εἴδω (eídō, i'-do): I know, remember — a primary verb; used only in certain past tenses, the others being borrowed from the equivalent ὀπτάνομαι and ὁράω; properly, to see (literally or figuratively); by implication, (in the perfect tense only) to know:--be aware, behold, X can (+ not tell), consider, (have) know(-ledge), look (on), perceive, see, be sure, tell, understand, wish, wot. Compare ὀπτάνομαι.
  • G2919 — κρίνω (krínō, kree'-no): I judge, decide, think good — properly, to distinguish, i.e. decide (mentally or judicially); by implication, to try, condemn, punish:--avenge, conclude, condemn, damn, decree, determine, esteem, judge, go to (sue at the) law, ordain, call in question, sentence to, think.
  • G3386 — μήτιγε (mḗtige, may'-tig-eh): from μήτι and γέ; not at all then, i.e. not to say (the rather still):--how much more.
  • G3754 — ὅτι (hóti, hot'-ee): that, since, because — neuter of ὅστις as conjunction; demonstrative, that (sometimes redundant); causative, because:--as concerning that, as though, because (that), for (that), how (that), (in) that, though, why.
  • G3756 — οὐ (ou, oo): no, not — a primary word; the absolute negative (compare μή) adverb; no or not:--+ long, nay, neither, never, no (X man), none, (can-)not, + nothing, + special, un(-worthy), when, + without, + yet but. See also οὐ μή, μῆκος.

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • G3385 — μήτι (mḗti, may'-tee): if not, unless — from μή and the neuter of τὶς; whether at all:--not (the particle usually not expressed, except by the form of the question).
