And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

- G455 — ἀνοίγω (anoígō, an-oy'-go): I open — from ἀνά and (to open); to open up (literally or figuratively, in various applications):--open.
- G846 — αὐτός (autós, ow-tos'): he, she, it, they, them, same — from the particle (perhaps akin to the base of ἀήρ through the idea of a baffling wind) (backward); the reflexive pronoun self, used (alone or in the comparative ἑαυτοῦ) of the third person , and (with the proper personal pronoun) of the other persons:--her, it(-self), one, the other, (mine) own, said, (self-), the) same, ((him-, my-, thy- )self, (your-)selves, she, that, their(-s), them(-selves), there(-at, - by, -in, -into, -of, -on, -with), they, (these) things, this (man), those, together, very, which. - G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): and, even, also, namely — apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.

- G3384 — μήτηρ (mḗtēr, may'-tare): a mother — apparently a primary word; a "mother" (literally or figuratively, immediate or remote):--mother.
- G3614 — οἰκία (oikía, oy-kee'-ah): a house, household — from οἶκος; properly, residence (abstractly), but usually (concretely) an abode (literally or figuratively); by implication, a family (especially domestics):--home, house(-hold).
- G3813 — παιδίον (paidíon, pahee-dee'-on): a little child, an infant — neuter diminutive of παῖς; a childling (of either sex), i.e. (properly), an infant, or (by extension) a half-grown boy or girl; figuratively, an immature Christian:--(little, young) child, damsel.
- G4098 — πίπτω (píptō, pip'-to): I fall, fall under — probably akin to πέτομαι through the idea of alighting; to fall (literally or figuratively):--fail, fall (down), light on.
- G4352 — προσκυνέω (proskynéō, pros-koo-neh'-o): I worship — from πρός and a probable derivative of κύων (meaning to kiss, like a dog licking his master's hand); to fawn or crouch to, i.e. (literally or figuratively) prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to, adore):--worship.
- G4374 — προσφέρω (prosphérō, pros-fer'-o): I bring to, offer — from πρός and φέρω (including its alternate); to bear towards, i.e. lead to, tender (especially to God), treat:--bring (to, unto), deal with, do, offer (unto, up), present unto, put to.
- G4666 — σμύρνα (smýrna, smoor'-nah): myrrh — apparently strengthened for μύρον; myrrh:--myrrh.
- G5557 — χρυσός (chrysós, khroo-sos'): anything made of gold — perhaps from the base of χράομαι (through the idea of the utility of the metal); gold; by extension, a golden article, as an ornament or coin:--gold.
