When Simon Peter saw [it], he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

- G268 — ἁμαρτωλός (hamartōlós, ham-ar-to-los'): sinning, sinful, a sinner — from ἁμαρτάνω; sinful, i.e. a sinner:--sinful, sinner.
- G435 — ἀνήρ (anḗr, an'-ayr): a male human being, a man — a primary word (compare ἄνθρωπος); a man (properly as an individual male):--fellow, husband, man, sir.
