2 Corinthians 11:27

2 Corinthians 11:26 2 Corinthians 11:27 (KJV) 2 Corinthians 11:28
[In] journeyings often, [in] perils of waters, [in] perils of robbers, [in] perils by [mine own] countrymen, [in] perils by the heathen, [in] perils in the city, [in] perils in the wilderness, [in] perils in the sea, [in] perils among false brethren;
In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

Strong's References
  • G70 — ἀγρυπνία (agrypnía, ag-roop-nee'-ah): sleeplessness, watching — from ἀγρυπνέω; sleeplessness, i.e. a keeping awake:--watch.
  • G1132 — γυμνότης (gymnótēs, goom-not'-ace): nakedness — from γυμνός; nudity (absolute or comparative):--nakedness.
  • G1373 — δίψος (dípsos, dip'-sos): thirst — of uncertain affinity; thirst:--thirst.
  • G1722 — ἐν (en, en): in, on, among — a primary preposition denoting (fixed) position (in place, time or state), and (by implication) instrumentality (medially or constructively), i.e. a relation of rest (intermediate between εἰς and ἐκ); "in," at, (up-)on, by, etc.:--about, after, against, + almost, X altogether, among, X as, at, before, between, (here-)by (+ all means), for (… sake of), + give self wholly to, (here-)in(-to, -wardly), X mightily, (because) of, (up-)on, (open-)ly, X outwardly, one, X quickly, X shortly, (speedi-)ly, X that, X there(-in, -on), through(-out), (un-)to(-ward), under, when, where(-with), while, with(-in). Often used in compounds, with substantially the same import; rarely with verbs of motion, and then not to indicate direction, except (elliptically) by a separate (and different) preposition.
  • G2532 — καί (kaí, kahee): and, even, also, namely — apparently, a primary particle, having a copulative and sometimes also a cumulative force; and, also, even, so then, too, etc.; often used in connection (or composition) with other particles or small words:--and, also, both, but, even, for, if, or, so, that, then, therefore, when, yet.
  • G2873 — κόπος (kópos, kop'-os): trouble, toil, labor — from κόπτω; a cut, i.e. (by analogy) toil (as reducing the strength), literally or figuratively; by implication, pains:--labour, + trouble, weariness.
  • G3042 — λιμός (limós, lee-mos'): a famine, hunger — probably from λείπω (through the idea of destitution); a scarcity of food:--dearth, famine, hunger.
  • G3449 — μόχθος (móchthos, mokh'-thos): wearisome labor, toil, hardship — from the base of μόγις; toil, i.e. (by implication) sadness:--painfulness, travail.
  • G3521 — νηστεία (nēsteía, nace-ti'-ah): fasting, the day of atonement — from νηστεύω; abstinence (from lack of food, or voluntary and religious); specially, the fast of the Day of Atonement:-- fast(-ing).
  • G4178 — πολλάκις (pollákis, pol-lak'-is): many times, often — multiplicative adverb from πολύς; many times, i.e. frequently:--oft(-en, -entimes, -times).

The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Greek (Textus Receptus, Scrivener 1894) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:

  • G5592 — ψύχος (psýchos, psoo'-khos): cold — from ψύχω; coolness:--cold.
