2 Corinthians 11:26

2 Corinthians 11:25 2 Corinthians 11:26 (KJV) 2 Corinthians 11:27
Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
[In] journeyings often, [in] perils of waters, [in] perils of robbers, [in] perils by [mine own] countrymen, [in] perils by the heathen, [in] perils in the city, [in] perils in the wilderness, [in] perils in the sea, [in] perils among false brethren;
In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

Strong's References
  • G1085 — γένος (génos, ghen'-os): offspring, family, race, kind — from γίνομαι; "kin" (abstract or concrete, literal or figurative, individual or collective):--born, country(-man), diversity, generation, kind(-red), nation, offspring, stock.
  • G1484 — ἔθνος (éthnos, eth'-nos): a race, people, the Gentiles — probably from ἔθω; a race (as of the same habit), i.e. a tribe; specially, a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually, by implication, pagan):--Gentile, heathen, nation, people.
  • G1537 — ἐκ (ek, ek): from out, out from among, from — a primary preposition denoting origin (the point whence action or motion proceeds), from, out (of place, time, or cause; literal or figurative; direct or remote):--after, among, X are, at, betwixt(-yond), by (the means of), exceedingly, (+ abundantly above), for(- th), from (among, forth, up), + grudgingly, + heartily, X heavenly, X hereby, + very highly, in, …ly, (because, by reason) of, off (from), on, out among (from, of), over, since, X thenceforth, through, X unto, X vehemently, with(-out). Often used in composition, with the same general import; often of completion.
  • G1722 — ἐν (en, en): in, on, among — a primary preposition denoting (fixed) position (in place, time or state), and (by implication) instrumentality (medially or constructively), i.e. a relation of rest (intermediate between εἰς and ἐκ); "in," at, (up-)on, by, etc.:--about, after, against, + almost, X altogether, among, X as, at, before, between, (here-)by (+ all means), for (… sake of), + give self wholly to, (here-)in(-to, -wardly), X mightily, (because) of, (up-)on, (open-)ly, X outwardly, one, X quickly, X shortly, (speedi-)ly, X that, X there(-in, -on), through(-out), (un-)to(-ward), under, when, where(-with), while, with(-in). Often used in compounds, with substantially the same import; rarely with verbs of motion, and then not to indicate direction, except (elliptically) by a separate (and different) preposition.
  • G2047 — ἐρημία (erēmía, er-ay-mee'-ah): a desert place — from ἔρημος; solitude (concretely):--desert, wilderness.
  • G2281 — θάλασσα (thálassa, thal'-as-sah): the sea, lake — probably prolonged from ἅλς; the sea (genitive case or specially):--sea.
  • G2794 — κίνδυνος (kíndynos, kin'-doo-nos): danger, peril, risk — of uncertain derivation; danger:--peril.
  • G3027 — λῃστής (lēistḗs, lace-tace'): a robber, brigand, bandit — from (to plunder); a brigand:--robber, thief.
  • G3597 — ὁδοιπορία (hodoiporía, hod-oy-por-ee'-ah): a journey, travel — from the same as ὁδοιπορέω; travel:--journey(-ing).
  • G4172 — πόλις (pólis, pol'-is): a city — probably from the same as πόλεμος, or perhaps from πολύς; a town (properly, with walls, of greater or less size):--city.
  • G4178 — πολλάκις (pollákis, pol-lak'-is): many times, often — multiplicative adverb from πολύς; many times, i.e. frequently:--oft(-en, -entimes, -times).
  • G4215 — ποταμός (potamós, pot-am-os'): a river, torrent — probably from a derivative of the alternate of πίνω (compare πότος); a current, brook or freshet (as drinkable), i.e. running water:--flood, river, stream, water.
  • G5569 — ψευδάδελφος (pseudádelphos, psyoo-dad'-el-fos): a false brother — from ψευδής and ἀδελφός; a spurious brother, i.e. pretended associate:--false brethren.
