And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

- G444 — ἄνθρωπος (ánthrōpos, anth'-ro-pos): a man, one of the human race — from ἀνήρ and (the countenance; from ὀπτάνομαι); man-faced, i.e. a human being:--certain, man.
- G530 — ἅπαξ (hápax, hap'-ax): once, once for all — probably from ἅπας; one (or a single) time (numerically or conclusively):--once.
- G599 — ἀποθνήσκω (apothnḗskō, ap-oth-nace'-ko): I am dying, am about to die — from ἀπό and θνήσκω; to die off (literally or figuratively):--be dead, death, die, lie a-dying, be slain (X with).
- G606 — ἀπόκειμαι (apókeimai, ap-ok'-i-mahee): I have been put away, am stored, am reserved for — from ἀπό and κεῖμαι; to be reserved; figuratively, to await:--be appointed, (be) laid up.
