For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.

- G235 — ἀλλά (allá, al-lah'): but, except — neuter plural of ἄλλος; properly, other things, i.e. (adverbially) contrariwise (in many relations):--and, but (even), howbeit, indeed, nay, nevertheless, no, notwithstanding, save, therefore, yea, yet.
- G341 — ἀνακαινόω (anakainóō, an-ak-ahee-no'-o): I renew, amend, change — from ἀνά and a derivative of καινός; to renovate:--renew.
- G444 — ἄνθρωπος (ánthrōpos, anth'-ro-pos): a man, one of the human race — from ἀνήρ and (the countenance; from ὀπτάνομαι); man-faced, i.e. a human being:--certain, man.
