Revelation 20:14

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

καὶ ὁ θάνατος καὶ ὁ ᾅδης ἐβλήθησαν εἰς τὴν λίμνην τοῦ πυρός· οὗτος ἐστιν ὁ δεύτερός θάνατος.

- G86 — ᾅδης (háidēs, hah'-dace): Hades — from Α (as negative particle) and εἴδω; properly, unseen, i.e. "Hades" or the place (state) of departed souls:--grave, hell.
- G906 — βάλλω (bállō, bal'-lo): I cast, throw, rush, put, place, drop — a primary verb; to throw (in various applications, more or less violent or intense):--arise, cast (out), X dung, lay, lie, pour, put (up), send, strike, throw (down), thrust. Compare ῥίπτω.
- G1208 — δεύτερος (deúteros, dyoo'-ter-os): second, in the second place, for the second time — as the comparative of δύο; (ordinal) second (in time, place, or rank; also adverb):--afterward, again, second(-arily, time).
