Therefore will I discover thy skirts upon thy face, that thy shame may appear.

- H3389 — יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִם (Yᵉrûwshâlaim, yer-oo-shaw-lah'-im): rarely יְרוּשָׁלַיִם; a dual (in allusion to its two main hills (the true pointing, at least of the former reading, seems to be that of יְרוּשָׁלֵם)); probably from (the passive participle of) יָרָה and שָׁלַם; founded peaceful; Jerushalaim or Jerushalem, the capital city of Palestine; Jerusalem.
- H4684 — מַצְהָלָה (matshâlâh, mats-haw-law'): from צָהַל; a whinnying (through impatience for battle or lust); neighing.

- H7704 — שָׂדֶה (sâdeh, saw-deh'): or שָׂדַי; from an unused root meaning to spread out; a field (as flat); country, field, ground, land, soil, [idiom] wild.
- H8251 — שִׁקּוּץ (shiqqûwts, shik-koots'): or שִׁקֻּץ; from שָׁקַץ; disgusting, i.e. filthy; especially idolatrous or (concretely) an idol; abominable filth (idol, -ation), detestable (thing).
The following Strong's numbers are referenced in the Hebrew (Westminster Leningrad Codex) text but were not explicitly tagged in the KJV source:
