1 Timothy 4:3

1 Timothy 4:2 1 Timothy 4:3 (KJV) 1 Timothy 4:4
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
Forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
For every creature of God [is] good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

Often used in composition with the same general import, but only with verbs (etc.) expressing motion (literally or figuratively).
  • G1921 — ἐπιγινώσκω (epiginṓskō, ep-ig-in-oce'-ko): I come to know, discern, recognize — from ἐπί and γινώσκω; to know upon some mark, i.e. recognize; by implication, to become fully acquainted with, to acknowledge:--(ac-, have, take)know(-ledge, well), perceive.
